2. Click on UPDATE INFO

3. Click on Add sign-in method

4. You should now see the dropdown menu below.

5. Choose "Authenticator app" from the dropdown menu and click "Add"

6. You should now see the pop up below, click "Next"

7. Click on Next

8. DO NOT CLICK "NEXT" ON THIS PAGE YET. At this point you are going to leave this page up on your machine and proceed to the next step.

9. On your mobile device please download the Microsoft Authenticator App.

If you are using an Apple device please go to the App Store and search for, download and install the Microsoft Authenticator App as pictured below.

 

If you are using an Android device please go to the Google Play Store and search for, download and install the Microsoft Authenticator App as pictured below.

On your mobile device please download the Microsoft Authenticator App.

10. Open the app on your mobile device and click "Add Account"

11. Click "Work or school account"

12. You should now be prompted to scan the QR code that should still be displayed in your browser from step 8.

If you are prompted to allow the Microsoft Authenticator App to use the camera on your device please click “Allow”. After allowing camera access you should see the screen below on the app.

13. Scan the QR code using your mobile device and then you should see the screen below on your browser. Click "Next"

14. Back on your mobile device you should now see the notification pop up in your Authenticator App, click "Approve".

15. Back in your web browser you should now see the below pop up screen. Click "Next"

16. Back on the Security Info page make sure your Default sign-in method is set to "Microsoft Authenticator - notification". If not, click "Change" and choose "App based authentication - notification" and then click "Confirm"
